direct access to Gunung Mulu National Park

Mulu Marriott Resort lies in the remote interior of Sarawak, close to the entrance of Gunung Mulu National Park. This area is defined by tall rainforest, limestone hills and a network of rivers. Access is usually by short flight from Miri or Kuching to Mulu Airport, which is located a few minutes from the lodge.

The property occupies a long stretch of riverbank surrounded by forest. Raised timber walkways link all main areas, keeping movement above ground level and reducing disturbance to the surrounding environment. The reception building sits close to the drop off point, with a lounge area, front desk and small shop. From here a covered walkway leads to a large open sided restaurant with views across the river.

The main swimming pool is located in a central clearing with deck seating and shade from tall trees. A spa and fitness area are placed nearby. All shared spaces are arranged to face either the river or the forest edge. Electricity and water supply are reliable by Mulu standards and the lodge can operate in all weather conditions.

Mulu Marriott Resort works well as a base for exploring Gunung Mulu National Park, offering direct transfers to the park office and steady access to guided cave trips.

Rooms

Guest accommodation at Mulu Marriott Resort is arranged in several long buildings connected by covered walkways. All rooms are air conditioned and have indoor bathrooms and private balconies facing either the river or the forest.

River View Rooms: Positioned nearer the water with views across the Melinau River.
