You can assume that this budget includes all transport, accommodation, meals and activities, but excludes your long-haul flights and local tips.

USD 1000-2500 : These days it is really challenging to put together trips in this price range. It can sometimes work for shorter trips, with larger groups and for certain well-priced locations, but the range of options will be very limited. We recommend that you jump to the next level if you possibly can.

USD 2500-5000 : This budget level can work for shorter trips to well-priced locations, but is usually too light for most good safari areas. But do select it if you wish and we will show you what is possible.

USD 5000-10000 : This budget is typically sufficient for cool-and-adventurous 7-12 night trips, but tends to be a little light for longer trips and higher-end accommodation options in most areas. We may need to be rather self-disciplined to stay within budget, in the face of so many tempting ingredients.

USD 10000-20000 : This budget range is typical for higher-quality 10-14 night trips or a cool-and-adventurous 3-4 week expeditions in most areas. We will always show you good lower-cost options if they exist, we won’t feel obliged to use the whole budget if we don’t need to.

USD 20000-50000 : These days many of the coolest trips fall into this elevated price range, especially those using very high quality accommodations and longer life-changing 3-4 week expeditions. There should be loads of fantastic options.

USD 50000+ : A budget this high only tends to come into play if you are looking for a genuine expedition into an extremely remote region, a multiple week trip in high-end accommodation or an extended stay in an unusually expensive location. You can bet it will be extraordinary.
