Meet the team
Over the years
we have managed to assemble
a genuine dream team
you will likely get to know several of us
Over the decades, we have been fortunate enough to have some of the finest people in the safari world join our team.
There is no compromise here. Our team members have to be committed to conservation, have to know safari inside out and must be smart, positive, efficient, empathic and diligent.
On this page, we have included a few words about the members of our team, so that you might get to know us a little better.
We start with our Safari Experts, the highly experienced people who work with our guests to come up with perfect trips.
Please feel free to choose the expert with whom you would like to work on your trip and contact them directly. If you would prefer us to select the most appropriate expert for you, then please enquire in the normal way and Lenny or Jay will choose one for you.
Further down the page, you will find the members of our team who work in other departments. They may be more behind-the-scenes, but they are all essential to the smooth running of your trip. You may well encounter some of them along the way.
please feel free to contact any of us directly
Tracey is one of the original three who founded the company back in 1999.
Born and raised in southwest London and with strong family ties in California, Tracey has a background in photography and styling.
A big traveller since her teens, Tracey has spent a good deal of time across Africa, the Americas, Europe and South East Asia.
She first fell in love with Africa on a trip to Tanzania in 1997 and was very much drawn to the place.
With almost two decades of safari experience, Tracey is undoubtedly one of the best in her field. She is experienced, enthusiastic, diligent and seems to spend an unusual amount of time laughing with customers on the phone.
She is the mother of two lovely boys, Joe and Bill, who she has travelled with extensively (especially across Africa) throughout their childhoods.
She is therefore particularly skilled and empathetic when creating fantastic family trips and also particularly loves working with our American and Canadian guests.
The image shows her favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Kunene Dunes Bivouac in the Skeleton Coast North area of Namibia, which is perhaps the most remote place we know. She has very happy memories of doing one of our epic Skeleton Coast Expeditions through that area.
particularly strong with big family trips
Greg is one of the three founder members of our company and remains very much involved with the day to day running of the business.
Originating from southeast England he holds a Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Bath.
His safari career began in 1981 when, at the tender age of 17, he spontaneously flew out to Zambia to work as a safari guide in Kafue National Park, alongside our Lenny.
He and Tracey (who also works with us) have two boys, Joe and Bill, who are already experienced travellers and lodge critics in their own right, you will see them turn up in photos all over the website.
Since 1999 Greg has personally inspected over 3000 lodges, seems able to remember every one in enormous detail.
Greg is presently the only person in our company to have detailed knowledge of all the countries we cover, which means he is a great person to chat with if you’ve not yet sure where your next trip might take you, or if you want to sketch out the next five or ten years of adventures.
The image shows the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor (Egypt). Places like this bring back happy memories of being dragged around ancient sites on family trips all the way back in the 1980s.
familiar with all our countries
Privileged to be our most senior Safari Expert, Lenny is sharp-witted, extremely knowledgeable and very approachable, loved by all.
He’s also our first hire, an old friend of our founding trio.
Although he has travelled widely around the world, Africa has always been his number one.
His safari career started when, at the tender age of 17, he travelled to Zambia to get a job as a trainee safari guide. Much to his mother’s displeasure, this little distraction caused him to drop out of university. Some of us still remember the night around a campfire when he made the fateful decision to help with the building of a new camp on the Busanga Plains rather than return to his studies in Coventry. Seemed right then, seems right now.
Since 2001, Lenny has worked tirelessly to create an endless stream of fantastic trips. His approach is very gentle, giving guest lots of time and space to make their own decisions.
His personal preference has always been for more authentic and outdoorsy safari experiences, with activities such as diving, trekking and white-water rafting, but he’s certainly grown to enjoy a more polished and relaxing camp too.
The image shows his favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Jackalberry Tented Camp in the Mudumu area of northeast Namibia, largely because it satisfies his contrary nature, but also because it is in an up and coming area, of an innovative design, has an earthy approach to safari and is really good value.
decades of experience, leaning towards earthy authentic safari
A director of the company, Jay has been with us since 2005 and is now one of our most experienced people, with an incredible range of knowledge across virtually all our African countries.
He now has an extraordinary following of repeat and referral guests, who know that he will deliver for them, their friends and colleagues every time.
Originally from Birmingham in England, after gaining a degree in sociology, Jay undertook a guide training course in South Africa. For the next 8 years he worked in an impressive range of posts, managing a camp in the Sabi Sand area of Kruger, leading community and conservation projects in Swaziland and Malawi, guiding trips throughout Southern and Eastern Africa and even a short stint managing a restaurant in Blantyre.
Jay is a great listener and his approach with customers is extremely sympathetic, intelligent and efficient.
He seems to be particularly appreciated by busy professional people, who are able to economise on their own time by letting him take the strain.
The image shows his favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Serian Kakessio Camp in the Southwest Serengeti, which he likes to visit during the Mar-Apr rainy season, when the migration is in full swing and there’s hardly a soul around. What a luxury and typical of the little safari secrets that he will use to help your trip reach another level.
arguably the leading safari expert in the world
Originally from the Cotswolds in southwest England, Clare has a background in graphic design and photography.
She has travelled very widely, including extensive explorations of the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
Back in 2005, she chucked everything in, re-mortgaged her apartment and left to travel independently through Africa. The following year she started work as an overland safari guide and clocked up an impressive 50,000 road miles on a variety of routes between Nairobi and Cape Town.
Clare joined our team in 2007 and has acquired considerable expertise in putting together superb trips.
Her approach is gentle and relaxed. She particularly likes to start out by providing a broad range of sample trips, before allowing her guests plenty of time and space in which to start narrowing down the options.
The image shows her favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely the Serengeti Mara area where the river crossings during Jul-Oct can be truly incredible and there’s a good choice of authentic little camps.
incredible hands-on safari experience
Born and raised in Michigan, Brian has a remarkably diverse background in philosophy, construction and venture capital.
He has always been a big traveller, especially throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe.
His African experience kicked off in the nineties with some hardcore overland expeditions. Since then he has spent considerable lengths of time travelling and working across the continent, most notably crewing hardcore rafting expeditions down the remote Omo River in Ethiopia.
Brian has developed a deep connection with the people of Africa, writing a book about hunger and founding a charity that sends street children to secondary school.
He has also written extensively for the highly acclaimed Bradt guidebooks.
Brian is a wonderfully enthusiastic chap, always ready with a smile and supportive comment. Rather than instruct or lecture his guests, he tends to subtly guide them towards their ideal trip. You are in control, but he is very much there in a supporting role.
The image shows his favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Oliver’s Camp in the Tarangire area of Tanzania, which he loves for its remote authenticity and serious approach to safari, especially when walking with elephants.
enthusiastic and deeply knowledgeable
Born and raised in Brighton in southeast England, Rick left school early to become an apprentice engineer, working on aircraft and high performance vehicles.
In 1995 he sold up and spent five years backpacking through Africa, Asia and Australasia.
The following five years saw him turn his travel passion into a vocation, as he started leading overland expeditions to far-flung corners of the globe. Pioneering and exploring different routes through various continents, he clocked up well over 100,000 hard road miles.
After over ten amazing years of travel, Rick returned to the UK in 2005 and got his first ever desk job, heading up the Africa and Middle East department for a respected travel firm.
His deep belief in conservation through environmental tourism saw him make the move to join us in 2011, attracted by our more specialist approach and passion for conservation.
Rick’s practical knowledge is greatly appreciated by his guests. He is often able to draw on this extensive first hand experience to explain and enhance tailor-made itineraries.
Rick’s an up-front kind of guy, so tends to fit best with people who appreciate a straight talking approach. He’s knowledgeable and efficient, but not pushy.
The image shows his favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Tafika Camp in the South Luangwa area of Zambia, which he loves for its stunning location, prolific wildlife, lovely hosts and an earthy approach to safari.
born to travel
James was born in South Africa …
James first joined ATR way back in 2004 and is now one of our most experience safari experts.
Born and raised in Cape Town, James gained a Degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch. After that he went travelling around the world, met an English girl and settled in London, where he has been based ever since.
His style is polite and deferential, but he can also be assertive enough to ensure that his guests find their way to fantastic tips. He has a fantastic eye for detail and always seems to know off by heart the various room types and meal plans for every single lodge.
enormously experienced
Danish by birth, Helle has extremely deep links with Africa.
As a child she spent two years in Liberia, two years in Gambia and seven years in Kenya, before finishing her education and university degree in London.
She started her twenties by travelling around various parts of the world, notably including the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Australasia.
After her travels, she took her first job in safari, as manager of the renowned Mwagusi Camp in the Ruaha area of southern Tanzania, which is where we first met her.
Helle then spent the next 13 years working safari in the Mara, Samburu and Laikipia areas of Kenya, notably taking charge of operations for prestigious high-end properties including Giraffe Manor, Sala’s Camp, Solio and Sasaab.
In 2016 she decided that she wanted to move to London for family reasons and contacted ATR as her first choice. She wanted to work with like-minded people who also understand and love Africa and are devoted to conservation.
Helle is a top Safari Expert, a very elegant communicator, upbeat, kind and empathetic with her guests. You immediately know you are speaking to a lovely, committed safari person.
The photo below is of Rubondo Island in Lake Victoria, a beautiful backwater that Helle fell in love with during her 2024 visit. Even though the chimps seemed to be deliberately elusive, she found them eventually.
a life on safari
Born and brought up in rural Norfolk in eastern England, Jamie joined ATR in 2022.
Prior to that, he spent several years working on safari in various countries, most recently with Great Plains, a prestigious company renowned for its very high-end safari camps.
Jamie is well-versed in all of the main safari countries in Africa and particularly enjoys building trips to more unusual countries, such as Madagascar and Ethiopia.
He is a very easy-going and polite fellow, a cool guy who really enjoys getting to know his guests during the trip-building process.
If you have an appreciation for the finer things in life, then Jamie is your man. But he can do earthy too.
hosted some of Africa’s best camps
Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Tracy has been addicted to safari since the tender age of seven and has worked in the safari world for over twenty years.
Married to a bush pilot, she has lived and worked in an impressive number of locations globally.
After extensive travel through Australasia, the Americas and Europe, she returned to South Africa to join a high quality safari operator.
In 2024, Tracy joined ATR and now splits her time between our bases in Shere (UK) and Franschhoek (South Africa).
She is very patient and conscientious, making her an ideal advisor for first time visitors to Africa. Being South African, she’s also incredibly polite and well-brought-up compared with our Brits!
Tracy adores all manner of African wildlife, but particularly rhinos and elephants. The photo below is of the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in the north of Kenya, which is one of her favourite places.
really loves elephants
Janine was born and raised in the city of Johannesburg, but spent spend childhood vacations on safari at her uncle’s camp in Kruger, supplemented with school safaris up into Botswana and Zimbabwe.
She gained a Degree in Psychology from the University of Pietermaritzburg.
After university, Janine spent over five years exploring and working diverse jobs around the world, including Europe, Asia and Australasia
Returning to South Africa, she settled in Cape Town and started working in safari, clocking up over twenty years of experience building high quality tailor-made safaris, whilst simultaneously raising her daughter.
Janine joined ATR in 2024 and is primarily based in our Franschhoek office in the Cape Winelands.
A sure sign of Janine’s safari authenticity is that she choose to have an image of a honey-badger here. Only by spending a great deal of time in the bush, do you learn quite how cool these guys are.
respect for honey-badgers
Born in London, Charlie grew up in Swaziland, before coming back to the UK for higher education, gaining a Degree in Equine Sports Science from the University of Brighton.
After that, he spent a good deal of time travelling the world, with a particular focus on the safaris area of Africa, becoming increasingly involved in wildlife photography and videography.
He eventually settled in Kenya, where he led horseback safari, based at the prestigious Borana and Sosian ranches in the north.
He moved back to the UK in 2016 and started work as an expert travel consultant, gaining experience at a number of specialist companies, before finally joining ATR in 2024.
Charlie is a very straightforward and pleasant fellow, someone you can really trust to help you build a great trip.
horses and cameras
We have been arranging great trips to South America for years now, but it took us until 2024 to find a travel expert who specialises in that region and also shared our same ethos for authenticity and conservation.
Tristan was born in England, but raised in Montpellier in the south of France.
He gained a degree in Tourism from the University of Montpellier, then played college baseball in the USA, before moving to Toronto to work for an adventure travel company.
Over the next several years, Tristan did a great deal of travelling, including a lot of backpacking and working at a beach bar in Honduras to pay for his accommodation whilst gaining qualifications in diving.
He migrated back to the UK and started to specialise in tailor-made travel to South America, prompted by both his travel experiences and his Peruvian girlfriend, now wife.
Tristan joined ATR in 2024 and heads up our South America department. He is very kind and generous with his time and will go to great length to ensure you find the perfect trip.
The photo below is of a puma in the Torres del Paine area of southern Chile, one of Tristan’s favourite places in the world.
a particular passion for South America
Harriet was born in England and gained a degree in Tourism Management from the University of Manchester.
After a prolonged period of private travel post university, she worked for seven years as a global travel consultant, gradually focusing in and becoming increasingly expert on Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Madagascar and Egypt.
Harriet joined ATR in 2025 as our first true specialist on travel to Asia (although she does also know a great deal about Africa as well).
She is an obviously lovely person, with a cheerful and enthusiastic approach. She will do whatever it takes to make sure that your trip is truly great.
The photo below was taken in the Jawai area of Rajasthan, one of Harriet’s favourite places in India.
a passion for exotic locations
Tony was one of the three founder members of the company back in 1999.
He is now our Finance Director and has his hand on the tiller from the back end of our business, including purchasing, operations, accounts and systems.
Born and raised in the UK, Tony’s professional background is in accountancy and information technology, notably in the flight simulator industry.
He has been travelling extensively around the world since his late teens, back when the world was young and time was cheap.
Into his late twenties, the draw of exotic places was still sufficiently strong to see him throw in a high-flying career to help birth this little baby of ours.
Tony is based in our Franschhoek office in the Cape Winelands of South Africa. He generally has more contact with suppliers than guests, but rest assured he will play a big part in making sure your trip runs smoothly.
He is married to Cate, who is also very experienced in the safari world, as is their fine young son Sid.
The image shows his favourite place in Africa at the moment, South Luangwa, a unique safari area with some of the best walking safari in Africa.
making everything tick
Once you have booked and paid the deposit on your trip, there is often little need for you to talk to us again before you head off to Africa.
But should you want to ask any questions or make changes to your reservation then it is most likely be Ida or her Guest Experience team to whom you will speak.
Ida was born and raised in the town of Kalmar in Sweden, where she studied for a Degree in English.
Although she originally intended to become a teacher, she soon became attracted into the world of safari, travelling to Cape Town to undertake a Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
After a few years working for a handful of top travel companies, Ida joined us in early 2015, wanting to work in an environment which was more specifically dedicated to safari and conservation.
She is married to South African, Stephen, and has a lovely daughter Olivia.
The image shows her favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Noordhoek beach, somewhere which conjures up so many happy memories and still lures her back from time to time.
looking after the details
Once you have booked and paid the deposit on your trip, there is often little need for you to talk to us again before you head off to Africa.
But should you want to ask any questions or make changes to your reservation then it will be to a member of the Guest Experience team such as Gemma, to whom you will speak.
Gemma grew up in London, England.
Her first career involved the provision of therapeutic support to families in hospitals. Her obvious skills and commitment led her to a senior managerial role.
Gemma has always harboured a passion for travel. She has journeyed extensively across the globe, immersing herself in diverse cultures and experiences.
Her first experience of safari in South Africa sparked a passion, which developed to such an extent over the years hat it prompted a complete change of career.
Her connection to Africa is further deepened by her family ties to Ghana.
The photo below is of the Kruger area in South Africa, where Gemma first fell in love with the bush.
ever ready to help
Once you have booked and paid your deposit there is often little need for you to talk to us again before you head off to Africa.
But should you want to ask any questions or make changes to your reservation you are likely to end up chatting with a member of our Guest Experience team, such as Claudine.
Born and raised in South Africa. Claudine studied Food & Beverage Management at the College of Cape Town, before heading to Florida for an internship on the Sunny Isles.
She subsequently worked as a senior restaurant supervisor at the renowned Cape Grace and One & Only hotels in Cape Town.
Claudine is married to a wine sommelier and they live around the corner from our Franschhoek office in the Cape Winelands, along with their two daughters.
She joined ATR in 2022.
Her favourite place in Africa is the gorgeous Okavango Delta in Botswana, pictured here.
before, during and after travel
Once you have booked and paid the deposit on your trip, there is often little need for you to talk to us again before you head off to Africa.
But should you want to ask any questions or make changes to your reservation then it will be to a member of the Guest Experience team such as Jade, to whom you will speak.
Jade grew up in various locations in South Africa, before migrating directly from university into the bush, working at the Ulusaba Rock Lodge, Lion Sands River Lodge and Savanna Lodge, all located in the prestigious Sabi Sand area of Kruger.
Jade and her British partner moved to the UK in 2025 specifically to join our Guest Experience team in Shere.
Given her safari experiences in the Sabi Sand area, it comes as no surprise that she chose to include a photo of a leopard.
a love for leopards
As part of the Guest Experience team, Hermine will be there to help with any questions you have, or changes that need to be made to your reservation once your trip has been booked and the deposit has been paid.
Hermine was born and bred in Cape Town, having lived in the Northern Suburbs and in the City Bowl itself for the majority of her life.
She gained a Degree in Drama and Stage Management at the University of Stellenbosch, before moving into customer service for most of her professional life.
Hermine, and her husband Henk, love nothing more than a camping trip, with their two lovely little girls.
Hermine’s favourite place in Africa is Spitzkoppe in Namibia, which conjures up memories of panoramic views and amazing night skies.
looking after you before, during and after travel
Alix is focused on managing our finances at ATR and making sure those books are balanced!
Born in Johannesburg, Alix moved down to KwaZulu Natal when she was a teenager.
She obtained a Degree in Business and Marketing Management from the University of Durban, after which she started work in the food industry, through which she met her Italian husband Sandro.
In 1999 the two of them moved to Italy, where they remained for thirteen years, during which time they were blessed with two little boys.
They returned to South Africa in 2013, setting up home in Paarl in the Cape Winelands and starting work with ATR in 2015.
Unusually for us, Alix is not a great safari traveller, although she has naturally seen a great deal of South Africa over the years. One day we will get her and her boys out on a proper safari.
The image shows her dream experience in Africa, trekking to visit the mountain gorrilas in Uganda or Rwanda.
looking after the money
Mandy was born and raised in Cape Town, after which she moved to Maputo in Mozambique for her formative years.
Returning to Cape Town, she joined an adventure tourism company which hosted guests from around the world, taking them out sky-diving, rock-climbing, sand-boarding, diving and all kinds of other crazy activities, all of which she joined in with alacrity.
Mandy now lives just around the corner from our office in Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands.
She is responsible for helping to build the components that our safari building system uses to automatically create fabulous and reliable trips, so she is very much wrapped up with the details of logistics and pricing. It’s under-the-hood work, but crucial to our operation.
The image shows her favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Machangulo Lodge in the Maputo area of Mozambique, a gorgeous coastal area which she got to know so well during her days living in that area.
creating the components
Lana is the person that you are most likely to speak with if you need assistance when making payments on a trip.
Born in Cape Town, Lana grew up in various locations around South Africa, including Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth, so got to see a good deal of the country in her early years.
She gained a degree in interior design at the University of Cape Town, but like so many of us, then went on to work in completely unrelated fields, most notably in the local wine industry.
Unusually for our company, Lana is not a great safari traveller, being more focused on conventional beach holidays. She could probably teach us all a thing or two about how to properly relax!
The image shows her favourite place in Africa at the moment, namely Zanzibar Whitesands, which is certainly one of the best beach lodges on the coast of Tanzania.
expediting payments
Up to the age of ten, Annie lived in the remote farming community of Bloemhof in the northeast of South Africa, after which she moved to the village of Vredefort in the Orange Free State, called. Farm life taught Annie perseverance and tenacity. It also instilled a love for nature, respect for animals and a respect for the land.
After graduating from school, Annie was drawn to the hospitality sector whilst raising a young family, eventually working as an Expat Relocation Consultant.
She joined ATR in 2015, bringing her knowledge of Africa to bear on the critical task of accurately finalising all the various components of your trip.
Annie is married to Deon, born and bred in Cape Town. They share their love for travel with their three adult children, Llewellyn, Heinricht and Kayleigh.
Annie’s favourite place is Namibia. As a young teen she often used to stay in Hentiesbay and travel north along the Skeleton Coast. She recalls the inner peace and solitude that fishing trips with her father in this remote location used to bring.
booking your trip
You may not hear directly from Durkje, but she too will be working hard to ensure that your trip runs smoothly, specifically ensuring that all the elements of your trip are properly booked and paid for.
From a young age, Durkje attended boarding school at the small village of Vanwyksdorp in the Little Karoo. It was an idyllic place, stuck in a time warp, with only 29 children and 2 teachers, no electricity and dirt roads. She remembers making fire in a donkey boiler for warm water and using a heavy clothes iron that they had to warm on the stove.
Needless to say, she became captivated by the stark beauty of the Karoo, a place which will remain in her heart forever.
Durkje has had a varied working life, involving photography, graphic design and finance.
She joined ATR in 2023, bringing her infectious enthusiasm to the team.
The photo below is of the rolling hills of the Little Karoo, not far from where Durkje went to school.
paying our suppliers
Priscilla was born in the small town of Wolseley, about an hour northeast of Cape Town, known for its mountain scenery, winelands and fruit farms.
In her youth, she spent a great deal of time on a farm in the stark desert landscapes of the Tankwa Karoo, further to the north, amongst the sheep, springboks and scorpions.
She joined ATR in 2022 and is a critically important member of the team.
Priscilla’s first introduction to safari was on her honeymoon, explorin the wild landscapes of the Kruger region. She was particularly captivated by the Mpumalanga Drakensberg mountains, with their forests, waterfalls and panoramic views.
finalising your safari
Born in France and raised in the UK, Louis gained a Degree in History and Politics at the University of Bristol and a Masters in Business at the University of Sussex.
After university, he spent a prolonged period backpacking around the world, visiting over fifty countries and involving all kinds of bizarre experience, notably becoming a drum teacher in Zanzibar.
Since then, he has used his fluency in three languages (English, French, Spanish) to work in various countries, including France, Spain, Vietnam and Thailand.
Although he started out in insurance, he migrated via financial service and music festival operations, before he finally landed to travel, and more specifically safari.
Louis joined ATR in 2024 and quickly rose to become a major asset to our Safari Expert, helping them to with all kinds of complex tasks.
providing the connection between guests and experts
Jon is head of marketing and website content so is responsible for a great deal of the imagery that you can find on this website.
Born and raised in southeast England, Jon has a Degree in Chemistry from the University of Bath.
He then spent the next ten or so years travelling the world, including extensive spells cycling across Europe, hiking through remote regions, living in Australia, working as a snowboard instructor in Whistler and undertaking very extensive explorations of South America, Nepal, the Arctic and various other far-flung locations.
Over this period he developed his passion for photography, which he started to move into professionally in the mountains of Europe.
Jon joined ATR in July 2010 and remains the self-confessed least mature member of our team and proud of it. He’s the one literally doing cartwheels on the top of Kilimanjaro whilst everyone else is just trying to survive.
During his time with us, Jon has visited, assessed and photographed thousands of lodges across more than twenty countries, ensuring our knowledge remains up to date while also uncovering new unique places and experiences.
The image here shows one of his favourite places in Africa, namely the Mahale Mountains area of Tanzania, an extremely cool and remote spot, with the best chimpanzee interaction in Africa. But we suspect he chose it simply to showcase one of his favourite photos.
quality imagery from five continents
Nick was born, grew up and still lives in the county of Kent in southeast England.
After gaining a degree in Wildlife Photography from the University of Falmouth, he managed to get the plum job of resident photographer at Governors Camp in the Maasai Mara area of Kenya, where he was based for a couple of years.
On his return to England, Nick joined ATR as our second full time photographer, travelling the world to capture the kin of honest imagery that you need to make decisions about your trips.
He also works in our website department and is responsible for thousands of the images that you can find here.
Needless to say, Nick has a soft spot for the Maasai Mara and has chosen an image from that area to showcase here.
a talent for photography
Our company has always tried to take the long view and be ready to invest in the development of the most advanced business systems possible.
Joe was the first person we ever employed specifically to develop systems, way back in 2002. He remains our Chief Technical Guru and is responsible for many of the clever bits and bobs that enable us to work efficiently and reliably.
Born and raised in South London, Joe has been involved in computer science for more than twenty years, working on some pretty impressive jobs including major logistics operations, international flight systems and even missile technology projects for NASA, although we’re not allowed to mention that.
His adventure travel experience is limited to a short visit to Egypt. It did change his life though, as he vowed never to ride a camel again. The camel was similarly unimpressed.
Joe is married to the lovely Vienna, who originally hails from Lagos in Nigeria. They live in the southern suburbs of London.
