Safari to Tsumkwe
Tsumkwe
is a very remote Bushman area
in northeast Namibia
a special cultural experience for intrepid travellers
Set in the northeast of Namibia, Tsumkwe is a remote outpost in the vast Kalahari, an important centre for the local Bushman people.
The small town is the administration centre for a vast tract of the Western Kalahari.
The main reason to visit is to spend time with the local Bushman tribespeople. Many of these people continue to follow their traditional tribal ways in remote villages amongst the great sand forests.
