Safari to Caprivi Eastern Tip
Caprivi Eastern Tip
is an area of rich wildlife
in the northeast of Namibia
much more peaceful than Kasane area
Set in the extreme northeast of Namibia, Caprivi Eastern Tip is an area of marshland and islands which lies between the Zambezi and Chobe rivers, renowned for its epic dry season wildlife Jun-Oct.
The Chobe River is normally accessed from the southern Botswana side, around the town of Kasane. However, that area can get very busy with visitor traffic.
By contrast, this Namibian side is much quieter and more pleasant to visit.
The primary activity here is motorboat safari along the main river, with snorkelling elephants being a particular highlight.
