White Pearl Ponta Mamoli is located in the Ponta Malongane area in the Maputo area to the South of Mozambique.

Central areas of the lodge include very stylish lounge and dining areas, as well as a large swimming pool. There is also a bar down on the beach.

Rooms

Guest accommodation at White Pearl is in a total of twenty one gorgeous suites, each with private verandahs and plunge pools, extremely comfortable bedroom, lounge and bathroom, plus expansive views out over the Indian Ocean. Six of the rooms are down on the beach-front and are slightly premium priced.

The southern sections of the Mozambique coastline tend to feature in trips most commonly in combination with safari in the Kruger area of South Africa.

Stay durations are usually 4-8 nights, usually at one lodge, but sometimes split between two different spots.

Seasonality

The Maputo area is at its best during the Mar-Nov dry season, but there are good reasons to visit during other months.

Getting there

The property is usually accessed by scheduled flights from Johannesburg into Maputo, from where it is a further flight connection down to the lodge.

It is also possible to fly from Kruger to Kosi Bay in South Africa, from where it is an hour by road north across the border into Mozambique and on to the lodge.
