Segera Retreat is located within the Segera Conservancy in the Laikipia area of northern Kenya.

Set within its own private conservancy, this highly distinctive retreat combines luxury accommodation with conservation, art, community and wildlife initiatives. The conservancy supports a range of wildlife, including the Big Five, and offers a particularly private safari experience across a vast area of northern Kenya.

Segera is a highly individual and well-managed property with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There is a strong emphasis on conservation, community initiatives, art, high-quality guiding, and the freedom to tailor each day around the interests and pace of individual guests.

The retreat is set within beautifully landscaped gardens, with accommodation and communal areas spread throughout the grounds. The property features a range of distinctive buildings, gardens, swimming pools, art installations and spaces for dining and relaxation, with views across the surrounding wilderness towards Mount Kenya.

Rooms

Guest accommodation at Segera is in five Garden Villas and five private houses, offering a wide range of options for couples, families and larger groups. The accommodation is individually designed and varies considerably in size and layout, with private pools available at several of the larger houses. The Garden Villas are set within landscaped gardens and feature private decks, en-suite bathrooms and outdoor bathing areas.

Garden Villas: x5 — Four one-bedroom villas and one four-bedroom Family Villa, set within landscaped gardens with private decks and en-suite facilities.

Private Houses: x5 — Garden House, Segera House, Greenhouse, Farmhouse and Villa Segera, ranging from two to four bedrooms and offering private pools at several properties.
