a riverside wilderness in Kenya’s renowned rhino sanctuary

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is located on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy within the Laikipia South area in central Kenya.

Set along the Ewaso Nyiro River, this traditional tented camp offers a relaxed and authentic bush atmosphere within one of East Africa’s most successful conservation areas. The conservancy is home to a large population of both black and white rhino, including the last two northern white rhinos in existence, and is one of the best places in Kenya for close-up rhino viewing.

Owned and operated by Asilia Africa, the camp is a polished and well-managed operation. The atmosphere remains informal and welcoming, with a strong emphasis on high-quality guiding, flexible activities, and a close connection to conservation and community initiatives within Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

The camp sits beneath a grove of acacia trees overlooking the river, with a central mess area featuring a dining tent, lounge, and campfire overlooking the water. The design is simple but comfortable, with canvas, wood, and traditional safari furnishings throughout.
