Selous

Set 200 km inland from Dar es Salaam in the south of Tanzania, Selous (Nyerere National Park) is the only major wildlife reserve on the humid coastal plateau and has a uniquely languid and tropical feel, with a good range of wildlife, notably including wild-dogs and excellent motorboat safari.

Lake Manze Camp

Lake Manze Camp is located in the Selous area.

The camp is centred on a sandy-floored main building, leading out to a campfire area.

Guest accommodation is in twelve simple tented Rooms with no electricity and outside bathrooms.

Activities include vehicle safari, motorboat safari, modest walking safari and bush meals.

The primary activity is vehicle safari inside the reserve during daylight hours.

The camp also offers motorboat safari on Lake Manze.

Pongwe

Set on the east coast of Zanzibar Island, Pongwe is a peaceful area of stunning coves and pretty small beaches, with guest accommodation in a handful of decent lodges, offering a wide range of marine and cultural activities.
