The village of Nagarkot is located around 25km (15 miles) east of Kathmandu in Nepal.
The area is best known for the spectacular view that it provides of the Himalayas, with eight of the thirteen main ranges being visible from here, namely Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest) and Numbur.
