Travel to Arniston
Arniston
is a pleasant coastal village
on the Whale Coast
overlooking a fabulous beach
Arniston is located in the Whale Coast area of the Western Cape.
This small town is a relatively remote and undeveloped coastal settlement, famed for its broad sandy beaches to the east and a large sea cave to the west.
Perhaps the most attractive feature is the cluster of traditional fishing cottages known as Kassiesbaai, on the eastern side of the village.
The village is dominated by the decent but overlarge Arniston Spa Hotel, with a handful of smaller guest-houses offering more intimate accommodation.

We are very rarely asked to include Arniston in trips, although we do sometimes include the opportunity to pop into this area when self-driving doing the lovely back-road traverse along the Whale Coast between Gansbaai and De Hoop.
