Set 620 km to the north of Antananarivo, Nosy Be is the largest of a cluster of beautiful tropical islands which offer some extremely strong marine activities. The main island is a bit too busy, but there's a handful of superb lodges on the smaller and more remote islands.

Tide + Time Tsara Komba is located in the Nosy Be area of northern Madagascar.
The lodge is centred on a lovely open-sided main building above the beach.
Guest accommodation is in eight superb Suite Rooms.
Activities include marine safari, snorkelling, diving and whale-watching.
The island of Nosy Komba can be explored by boat and on foot.
The diving in this area is very strong and varied.

Set off the far northeast of Madagascar, Nosy Ankao is a remote tropical island, home to the country’s most luxurious and pricey lodge, one of the leading beach retreats in the world, offering a huge range of wildlife and marine activities.

Miavana is located on the private island of Nosy Ankao in northeast Madagascar.
The lodge is centred on a cluster of elegant buildings leading out to a large swimming pool.
Guest accommodation is in fourteen lavish Villas.
Activities include snorkelling, diving, kayaking, kite-surfing, whale-watching, lemurs and tsingys.
The primary activity is walking safari in search of lemurs.
The area also offers some superb and largely unexplored diving.
Bush meals are offered in a rang of idyllic locations.
There is also some excellent motorboat safari amongst the coastal mangrove forests.
