Set on the east coast of Argentina, Península Valdés is renowned for its prodigious marine wildlife, with highlights including orcas taking seal pups from the beaches and enormous bull elephant seals fighting over their harems. The best accommodation is in a handful of remote estancias.

Estancia Rincón Chico is set in the Península Valdés region of eastern Argentina.

Península Valdés is a really important area for marine wildlife.
The area is the most northerly home of Magellanic penguins.
It is also the only place in the world where orcas (killer whales) come up onto the beaches to hunt seal pups.
Perhaps the most impressive visitors are the gigantic elephant seals.
