reliable base for exploring the western sector of Torres del Paine

Hotel Lago Grey occupies one of the most dramatic positions in Torres del Paine National Park, set directly on the edge of Lago Grey with sweeping views across the lake and its drifting icebergs. The hotel is best known as the departure point for the Grey Glacier navigation and as a convenient base for exploring the western side of the park.

The design is traditional rather than boutique, with an emphasis on warmth, shelter, and communal spaces.

This is a straightforward and comfortable hotel, rather than a remote lodge, and it provides reliable accommodation inside the park, easy logistics, and access to key highlights without the higher costs of some other lodges.

Rooms

Hotel Lago Grey has 60 rooms, arranged across several low-rise wings that extend from the main lodge building and follow the contours of the lakeshore.

Accommodation is divided into Standard Rooms and Superior Rooms, with the key distinction being positioning and views. Rooms are simple and functional in layout, with private bathrooms, heating, and large windows in the Superior Rooms.
