Nimali Serengeti
Nimali Serengeti
is a rebuilt camp with real polish
in the Serengeti Central area
an area with a remarkable density of wildlife
Nimali Serengeti sits close to Makoma Hill in the central sector of Serengeti National Park, on ground of open plains and granite kopjes.
The camp is owned and run by Nimali Africa, a family business with roots in East Africa dating back to the late 1890s. The company began as a land restoration project on the eastern boundary of Tarangire National Park and has since grown into a small portfolio of four properties.
Buffalo, elephant and giraffe are resident around Makoma Hill year round, and the camp sits on one of the park’s established wildebeest migration routes, with herds passing through twice a year, typically April to June and again October to December.
Public areas are built around a central lounge, dining tent and pool deck, all elevated and facing out over the plains.
