Kapamba Bushcamp
Set alongside a tributary of the main river in the South Luangwa South area of eastern Zambia, Kapamba Bushcamp is a pleasantly funky little safari outpost, with guest accommodation in just 4 rooms and offering a good range of well-guided safari activities. Minimum age 12.
Kafunta Island Camp
Set on the west bank of the main river in the South Luangwa South area of eastern Zambia, Kafunta Island Camp is a fabulously simple and well-priced place, with guest accommodation in just 4 chalets and focused mainly on walking safari. Minimum age 12.
Gwala Camp
Set along a usually dry tributary around 12 km northwest of the main river in the South Luangwa South area of eastern Zambia, Gwala Camp was operated by The Bushcamp Company. It unfortunately closed down in 2012, but may re-open at some point in the future.
Kalamu Lagoon Camp
Set on the west bank of the main river in the South Luangwa South area of eastern Zambia, Kalamu Lagoon Camp was operated by Wilderness Safaris. It was unfortunately closed down in 2011 and there are presently no plans for it to re-open.
