Chobe
Set in the north of Botswana, Chobe is the heart of a vast conservation area, a very important national park, but one whose key areas often get very busy these days, making it something of a challenge to deliver high quality safari experiences.

Makgadikgadi
Set in the north of Botswana, Makgadikgadi is a vast and hypnotic open grassland, centred on a network of epic salt pans and dotted with isolated islands of palm and baobab trees. Guest accommodation is in a really interesting range of a dozen camps, offering a wide range of unusual safari activities, including habituated meerkats, Bushmen interaction, palaeontology and quad-biking.
Okavango Jao Flats
Set in the north of Botswana, the Jao Flats Concession is an extremely beautiful private sector of the Okavango Delta, with guest accommodation in a half a dozen very high quality camps and offering a good range of wet and dry safari activities. Particularly interesting during the May-Jun flood.

Previously renowned for its habituated elephant interaction experience, which has now been terminated.
Chobe Savuti Marshes
Set in the north of Botswana, the Savuti Marshes are a part of Chobe National Park, a famous old safari area which is renowned for very rich wildlife viewing, but which is also very busy with visitors these days.
Okavango Gunns
Set in the north of Botswana, the Gunns Concession is a pretty sector of the Okavango Delta, with guest accommodation in a handful of camps and offering a range of largely wet safari activities. No vehicles.
Tuli Block
Set in the southeast of Botswana, Tuli Block is a very large private reserve which offers arguably the best non-malarial safari area in Africa, with a good range of landscapes and rich wildlife. Guest accommodation is in a handful of lodges, offering an unusually wide range of activities, including walking safari, mountain hiking and hides. Mostly combined with areas in South Africa rather than with the Okavango Delta.
Okavango Khwai Village

Set in the north of Botswana, Chobe Northern Waterfront is the part of Chobe National Park which fronts onto the main river and is renowned for prodigious wildlife viewing during the May-Oct dry season, but which also suffers badly from very high visitor traffic.

Okavango Moremi Mopane
Set in the north of Botswana, Moremi Mopane is the only portion of the Okavango Delta which is open to public access, with guest accommodation in three mid-range lodges, providing access to vehicle safari and motorboat safari. However the area can get very busy and unattractive.
Okavango Mababe
Set in the north of Botswana, Mababe is a private sector of the Okavango Delta, a less-utilised area with very unpredictable water flows and wildlife movements. It therefore contains only a limited selection of generally less appealing camps.
Okavango Duba Plains

Set in the south of Botswana, Kgalagadi is a huge and very arid reserve which is only usually visited as part of the self-drive overland traverse from Upington in South Africa, with just a handful of relatively simple lodges.
Nxai
Set in the north of Botswana, Nxai Pan is an entrancing but little-visited national park, which experiences ephemeral migration action, with guest accommodation in just one high quality camp, offering a modest range of desert safari activities.
Okavango Selinda South

Chobe Nogatsaa
Set deep within Chobe National Park, the Nogatsaa Pans is a collection of remote seasonal waterholes that lie some 80 km south of the Chobe River and which attract a good deal of wildlife, especially during the Dec-Apr green season.
