Set on rocks above the ocean 2 km north of town of Pangani on the Tanzania Coast, Nic’s Tented Lodge is a very pleasant place, amongst the most comfortable and well-presented in the area, although the beaches are not nearly as nice as those further south.

Set at the back of the beach just north of the town of Pangani on the Tanzania Coast, Bahari Pori Bandas is a mid-range lodge with a decent restaurant and pizza oven.

Set 15 km north of Pangani on the Tanzania Coast, Capricorn Beach Cottages is a simple lower cost option aimed largely at residents, although the beaches are not nearly as nice as those further south.

Set in the more upmarket suburbs at the northern end of Tanga on the Tanzania Coast, Mkonge Hotel is a reasonably pleasant old place, probably the best option in immediate vicinity.
